In fact, although my mom and I were tempted by the unlimited included shore excursions at our port in the Bahamas, we opted to stay on board to experience every amenity the ship had to offer. To begin with, the cabins -- they're all suites -- are beautifully designed and feature some of the largest balconies in the industry. (Balcony sizes range from 55 to 994 square feet.) At the very top is the Regent Suite, a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom cabin that is so indulgent and well-appointed, passengers staying there might never want to leave. It offers a range of wellness and beauty treatments including massages, body wraps, manicures, and facials.

There are always the “out of touch with reality complainers”(which I discount). And the overly positive cheerleaders (which I also discount). But sometimes there is a lot of value in reading constructive reviews that point out honest feedback pointing out opportunities for improvement. Like Rachel G, I probably should have been more proactive and submitted a formal review of my one and only previous Regent cruise. However, it was to the Caribbean in late February, and weather was not an issue. Most recent negative reviews were to Alaska, where weather can cause port tendering complications...not Regent's fault.

It’s elegant casual after 6 p.m.; slippers, caps, T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, and shorts are not considered appropriate. There are a couple of formal optional nights on every segment that require cocktail dresses and evening gowns for women and dinner jackets and dark suits with ties for gentlemen. Note that most people dress up in the evenings, regardless. There is a good size gym with spinning cycles, weight machines, treadmills, yoga mats, and dumbbells. There are morning and evening stretches with a trainer, along with HIIT, pilates, and circuit training scheduled every other day.
Regent Seven Seas
Other comments describe the itinerary changes which we think completely gutted the original cruise itinerary. If Luxor is unsafe for two days, why is it safe for one day ? And why is it safe to cruise around in the Red Sea for 6 uninterrupted days ?
Regent Seven Seas Cruises are filled with daytime activities and evening entertainment for their guests to experience on-board. The cruise line allows their guests to participate in an engaging enrichment program with The Smithsonian Collection by Smithsonian Journeys. There are also relaxing activities offered on-board through their heated resort pool or by Canyon Ranch SpaClub that gives passengers the privilege to pamper their selves. With a turquoise pool surrounded by dozens of sun loungers, several hot tubs, outdoor sports courts, and a host of daily activities ranging from trivia to live entertainment, there’s plenty to do on board the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises Reviews
Over 130 new dishes were added to the menus on Grandeur, and there are more than 200 plant-based options served across the ship for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Compass Rose, Regent’s signature restaurant, received a gorgeous transformation by Studio DADO for Grandeur; behind a metal waterfall-like sculpture, guests will find an illuminated dining room that resembles a magical forest. There are many different cruise lines to choose from, and each one offers a different type of experience. Some are geared towards families, while others are more focused on luxury or adventure.
Exclusive Offer
There is an environmental officer on board the Mariner and a lot of its environment-friendly operations happen in lower decks. The cruise has a water treatment plant and a waste management system. In your room, you will find refillable water bottles (still and sparkling) and in the cruise, there are water filling stations (still and sparkling). Accessible staterooms, which can accommodate travelers in wheelchairs needing wider doorways and roll-in showers, are very limited on Seven Seas Splendor and are only available in two Concierge Suites and a single Penthouse Suite. Most areas of the ship are accessible via the two elevator banks. The show I saw — "Marauder's Ball," the only one of the ship's four production shows offered during the christening voyage — featured pirates pillaging jewelry and other riches from the wealthy elite as they attended the launch of a new ship.
Family-friendly Offerings
Poolside, bathing suits and cover-ups (for women) are common, though swimwear is not allowed indoors. Women wear shorts and T-shirts or blouses, capris, jeans, dresses or skirts indoors, while men go with jeans or shorts and T-shirts or polo shirts. Apart from that, there is a library, a card room, and a casino on board.
Seven Seas Explorer Review
In the Stars lounge, there is another crystal curtain that looks lovely when it’s lit at night. Keep your eyes on the ceilings and you’ll keep noticing stars. The Mariner set sail in 2001 as the world’s first all-suite, all balcony ship.
Norwegian Dawn, the smallest of the fleet sailing in Europe this summer at 92,250 gross tons, will also spend its summer in Northern Europe. It will finish its current Mediterranean season with a 10-night cruise from Rome on April 26, transitioning to Barcelona and La Havre. I read the forum on cruise critic before our cruises, especially our first one.
But I've been so happy with my most recent Regent experiences, it's something I forget to do...outta sight outta mind. Labeled Verified, they’re about genuine experiences.Learn more about other kinds of reviews. People who write reviews have ownership to edit or delete them at any time, and they’ll be displayed as long as an account is active. This morning Regent Seven Seas Cruises came with their ship Mariner in to Port Cartagena. The ship emits a noice of 60 dBA and spoil with that the environment of the people on the yachts in the marina.
The staterooms are designed with the cruise line’s demographics in mind. There are wheelchair-accessible rooms that have wider doors, lower access points, and hold bars, and most rooms have no bathtubs in the shower area. The cruise will also try to get buses at destinations that are wheelchair-friendly and point out the level of walking for each excursion. You’ll notice beautiful artworks in every nook and corner—paintings adorn all public spaces, chandeliers glitter in lounges and library, light fixtures are uniquely rectangular in shape, and a glass art installation over reception is eye-catching.
Starting at the top on Deck 12, a bocce court, pickleball court, shuffleboard, a golf net, and a putting green with holes inspired by famous golf courses around the world offer fun ways to soak in the ocean views on a sea day. The Observation Lounge, Card Room, Connoisseur Club, and Library (with countless travel books stocked so you can read all about your next destination) on Deck 11 are cozy spots to unwind. On Grandeur, 373 guest accommodations range from the entry-level Veranda Suites to the one-of-a-kind, 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite. Deluxe Veranda and Veranda Suites offer up to 361 square feet of space, outfitted with upscale finishes and, of course, their own balconies.
The smallest size on board is the 301 square-feet Deluxe Veranda Suite with floor-to-ceiling windows and a king-size bed. The balcony has two chairs and a table, and a screen for privacy. You’ll also have a small lounge area in the room with sofas and a coffee table, facing the television. I found the stunning Observation Lounge on Deck 11 to be fairly quiet during the daytime, especially on port days. It was easy to snag a table by one of the sweeping windows so I could enjoy the view.
You can find a list of shore excursions on the Regent website for each port before booking, and you can book them online starting at 365 days before your cruise if you booked a suite with concierge amenities or 300 days in advance without concierge benefits. While there are typically several free options for every port, Regent Choice Shore Excursions are also available for an additional charge. Regent Seven Seas is one of only a few truly all-inclusive cruise lines, and as such, a cruise on Seven Seas Explorer will be virtually hassle-free when it comes to figuring out what costs extra.
